Whilst there is no doubting my Yorkshire origins (my family has been centred in Yorkshire since before the Normal Invasion in 1066), the truth is that I am a specialist surgical negligence solicitor. Most of my adult life - with the exception of some time in Military, has been spent in clinical and personal injury claims relating to or involving complex surgery. As my career has matured that has been refined to surgery involving the head and neck and any component thereof, such as:

• Reconstructive Surgery

• Spinal Surgery

• Brain and Brain Stem etc.

There is only so much of this work locally so my field of expertise expands to include all surgical claims and encompasses all areas, although much of my work remains in the North and in Yorkshire in particular (see below) you will also find me working on claims with firms in Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Oxfordshire etc. Recently I have been working with a very well established and well run firm of specialists in East Kent!

Ultimately, the UK is a small place, if you want to specialise in anything then you cannot rule out any part of the country. However, unlike many Soliciotrs you will find on Google, I don't claim to be all things in all areas. Wherever possible, I try and stick to the people I know in the county that is my home.
